Which kebab should I order?

First time? Start with the Adana kebab (฿350): hand-minced meat with red pepper, grilled on a wide skewer. It is the most famous kebab in Türkiye. If you prefer something mild, go for chicken shish (tavuk şiş).

Want to try everything? The Istanbul Mixed Grill (฿850) puts lamb shish, Adana, köfte, chicken shish and wings on one plate. For groups of 5 to 6, the Family Tray (tepsi kebabı) is the best value.

Hungry for something saucy? İskender kebab layers our lamb doner over bread with tomato sauce, butter and yoghurt, the original from Bursa.

Doner, dürüm or shish: what is the difference?

Doner (döner) is meat cooked on a vertical rotating spit and sliced thin; at Istanbul Restaurant you get it in our İskender kebab. Shish (şiş) is cubes of meat grilled on a skewer. Dürüm is any kebab wrapped in thin lavash bread, which is perfect for takeaway.

Adana and Beyti are minced-meat kebabs; Adana is spicier, and Beyti is wrapped in bread and topped with yoghurt.
